ABOUT US
AMPS-DMS is a full-service metering products and services provider, dedicated to addressing all your metering needs. AMPS-DMS has served the metering industry for over 40 years, providing metering services to a variety of businesses.
Our story began in Los Angeles when Advanced Metering Products and Data Management Services merged to form AMPS-DMS, and saw the need to provide for revenue measurements testing and Data Collection & management across a diverse segment of electric energy users and providers.
AMPS-DMS maintains a full staff of experienced estimators, project managers and office staff.

Frequently asked questions
Can you perform CA-ISO Compliance for a new facility ?
Yes. We have CAISO Authorized Metering Inspectors, technical resources, and the equipment necessary to complete the inspection and certification CAISO requires of new and existing CAISO Metered Entities.
Do you take care of the CA-ISO coordinating and procedure?
Yes, to the extent we are allowed under current CAISO rules, the owner opens a maintenance project in the CAISO portal called RIMMS, and AMPS DMS provides the maintenance services identified in the outage (OMS) on the devices identified by CAISO EDAS. We find that some customers may want us to take care of all of the CAISO coordination, including compliance paperwork. We also find that other customers have a group that takes care of this CAISO coordination for them. We will be glad to assist you with all of the coordination efforts we are allowed to provide on your behalf.
We are unable to retrieve meter data; can you help, even though you have not been on our site before?
Yes; our team of experts has seen almost all, from erroneous meter reads, to programming and even electrical discharge issues.
Do you only support CA-ISO revenue meters?
We inspect and test all types of revenue metering installations and are here to help, just give us a call.
